This document describes the Swivel 360 Protect child car seat, designed for children in Group 0+/I, covering a weight range of 0-18 kg. It is certified according to European safety standard ECE R44/04.
Function Description
The Swivel 360 Protect is a versatile child car seat that can be used both rearward-facing (for children 0-18 kg) and forward-facing (for children 9-18 kg). Its key feature is a 360° swivel function, which significantly eases the process of placing a child into and taking them out of the seat. The seat can be rotated by pressing a dedicated rotation button. Before each journey, it is crucial to ensure that the rotating part of the child seat is fully engaged by attempting to turn the seat in both directions. The car should not be driven if the child seat is not facing forward or in the correct direction for the child's weight.
The car seat is equipped with an ISOFIX and support leg anchoring system, which is vital for the child's safety. The correct installation of these systems is paramount. The support leg has an indicator that must be completely green to confirm correct installation.
The headrest is adjustable to seven different positions. To adjust, pull the headrest adjust button upwards, move the headrest to align the shoulder straps with the child's shoulders (or slightly above), and then lightly push the headrest downwards to ensure it is properly engaged.
The backrest can be reclined into multiple positions, even while the child is in the seat, to provide optimal sleeping comfort. For infants aged 0-6 months, the seat should be used in its most reclined position with the infant insert to ensure proper spinal support during sleep. To change the recline position, grasp the recline button and push or pull the seat to the desired position.
The harness system secures the child in the seat. To loosen the harness, pull the shoulder strap upwards while pressing the central adjuster button. The harness buckle can be opened, and the shoulder straps positioned at the sides of the seat to keep the harness open during child placement. The harness can be held open with supports on either side of the seat. When securing the child, guide the two buckle latches together until they click before inserting them into the harness buckle. The harness must be reasonably tight, restraining the child without causing discomfort. The adjustment strap is used to tighten the harness snugly against the child's body. It is important that the straps are correctly adjusted and not twisted.
An infant insert (cuddle-me system) is provided for very small babies (under 13 kg) to offer additional comfort and necessary support. For babies under 5.5 kg, the infant insert must always be used with its foam part. The foam part of the infant insert is not suitable for children over 13 kg and should be removed, or the entire insert if the child is over 13 kg. The cuddle-me infant insert can also be used without the foam part for children over 13 kg. The foam part can be removed from the net pocket on the back of the cuddle-me infant insert. The cuddle-me infant insert should only be used when the shoulder strap is in its lowest position.

- Never leave a child unattended in the car seat.
- Do not use the car seat without its fabric cover, as the cover is an integral part of the car seat's performance. Only use original or manufacturer-recommended replacement covers.
- Ensure the seat is secured with ISOFIX and the support leg even when not in use, as an unsecured seat can injure other passengers during an emergency stop.
- Rigid and plastic parts of the child restraint must be positioned to prevent them from becoming trapped by moving seats or vehicle doors.
- Avoid damaging the seat with heavy luggage, adjustable seats, or slamming car doors.
- No alterations should be made to the product, as this could compromise safety.
- In hot weather, plastic and metal parts can become hot; cover the seat when the car is parked in the sun.
- Do not remove the product's logo to prevent damage to the cover.
- Before purchasing, verify that the car seat can be properly secured in your vehicle.
- Take frequent breaks during long journeys to allow the child to relax.
- Set a good example by always wearing your seat belt.
