Why does the upper thread keep breaking on my Baby Lock Sewing Machine?

The upper thread might be breaking on your Baby Lock Sewing Machine due to several reasons: the machine wasn't threaded correctly (incorrect spool installation, wrong spool cap, missed needle bar thread guide, etc.), the thread is knotted or tangled, the thread is too thick for the needle, the upper thread tension is too strong, the needle is bent or blunt, or the needle is installed incorrectly. To resolve this, rethread the machine correctly, remove any knots or tangles, check the fabric/thread/needle combination table and select the appropriate combination, adjust the thread tension, replace the needle, or reinstall the needle correctly.
