What to do if Bacharach Security Sensors show erratic response in all leak positions?
    • M
      moorejamesJul 27, 2025
If your Bacharach Security Sensors exhibit erratic responses in all leak positions, several factors could be at play. First, the filter might be clogged, in which case you should replace it with a new one (3015-0784). Another potential cause is dirt inside the sensor; try removing the sensor and gently blowing it out with clean air (not exceeding 10 psi); if this doesn't resolve the issue, replace the sensor (3015-0486) and replace the filter (3015-0784). A short circuit in the sensor could also be responsible, requiring a sensor replacement (3015-0486). Finally, the surrounding atmosphere may be contaminated with excessive refrigerant gas, so ventilate the area.

Why Bacharach H-10 PRO response is continuous?
    • M
      Megan MitchellAug 16, 2025
If the response of your Bacharach Security Sensors is continuous, particularly in the SMALL leak switch position, it's likely that the detector sensitivity is too high. Readjust the heater (see "Heater Adjustment" section).

What to do if Bacharach Security Sensors have no response to calibration reference bottle?
    • A
      Andrea SmithNov 5, 2025
If your Bacharach Security Sensors aren't responding to the calibration reference bottle, consider these possibilities: * The heat adjustment might be set too low, or the bottle could be empty. Readjust the heater (see "Heater Adjustment" section) or replace the bottle (3015-0864). * The filter in the probe tip may need replacement (3015-0784), and it is important to check for proper pump operation. * The sensor may have been exposed to excessive amounts of halogen gas. If so, move the probe to a clean atmosphere for several minutes to allow the sensor to purge itself. * Water might be present in the probe. Turn off the unit, disconnect the probe from the chassis, remove the screws, and take out the chassis. Locate the hose connecting the probe to the pump on the underside of the ...
