What to do if my Bad Boy 5´ Cutter Brush Cutter discharges material unevenly?
    • D
      donaldfergusonAug 1, 2025
If your Bad Boy Brush Cutter is discharging material unevenly or bunching it along the path, it could be due to several reasons. The material might be too high and dense, or the grass could be wet. Another cause could be that the rear of the cutter is too low, trapping material underneath. To resolve this, reduce your ground speed while maintaining 540 RPM tractor PTO, or make two passes, raising the cutter for the first pass and then lowering it to the desired height for the second pass, cutting perpendicular to the first. Also, allow the grass to dry before mowing. Make sure you adjust the cutter height and attitude.

Why Bad Boy 5´ Cutter Brush Cutter leaves streaking conditions in path?
    • C
      Christopher BoydAug 7, 2025
Streaking in the path of your Bad Boy Brush Cutter can occur if conditions are too wet for mowing, preventing the blades from cutting grass flattened by tractor tires, or if the blades are dull. Allow the grass to dry before mowing. Reduce the tractor's ground speed while maintaining a PTO speed of 540 RPM. Sharpen or replace the blades.

      Brandon FergusonAug 26, 2025
If your Bad Boy Brush Cutter is cutting grass lower in the center of the path compared to the edge, the height of the cutter might be too low at the rear or front. Adjust the cutter height and attitude so that the cutter's rear and front are within ½? of the same height.
