How to prevent premature blade dulling on my Baileigh Industrial Saw?

Premature blade dulling on your Baileigh Industrial Saw can be caused by several factors. The teeth of the blade might be too coarse for the material, so try using finer teeth. Excessive speed can also lead to dulling, so decrease the speed. If the feed pressure is inadequate, reduce the spring tension on the side of the saw. Hard spots or scale on the material may be the cause, in which case you should reduce the speed and increase the feed pressure. Work hardening of the material can also contribute; increase feed pressure by reducing spring tension. A twisted blade should be replaced, and the blade tension adjusted. Also, ensure sufficient blade tension by tightening the adjustable knob.
