Why is my Baileigh Saw blade breaking so much?

Excessive blade breakage in your Baileigh Saw can occur for several reasons. It might be due to the material not being clamped securely in the vise; make sure to clamp the work securely. Other causes include incorrect speed or feed (adjust the speed or feed), using a blade with tooth spacing that is too large (replace it with a smaller tooth spacing blade), or the material being too coarse (use a slow speed blade and small tooth spacing). Also, check for incorrect blade tension (adjust so the blade doesn't slip), teeth contacting the material before the saw starts (start the saw first), the blade rubbing on the wheel flange (adjust wheel alignment), misaligned guide bearings (adjust them), or cracking at the weld (weld again, noting the weld quality).
