8.1.3 Regulator Adjustment
1. Turn gas cock OFF.
2. Remove pressure tap plug, located on the manifold side of the valve near the attaching pipe.
3. Attach the proper fitting and connect a manometer.
4. Turn gas cock ON, allow main burner to light.
5. If adjustment is needed (manifold pressure incorrect – check serial decal for proper pressure),
remove regulator cap and turn adjusting screw to change the manifold pressure (clockwise
to increase pressure, counter-clockwise to decrease pressure).
6. Turn gas cock OFF, remove manometer fitting and replace pressure tap plug.
7. Turn gas cock ON, allow main burner to light, and leak test with soap solution.
