  If your B&K Amplifier display is on but there's no sound, several things could be the cause. First, check if the preamplifier is muted and un-mute it. Make sure the volume isn't set to minimum; increase the volume. Verify that you've selected the correct source, and that all connections are secure, trying different cables if necessary. Finally, inspect the speaker fuses and replace any that are blown with the same type and value.

  If your B&K Amplifier has no sound and the display isn't lighting up, start by checking the power cord to ensure it's properly plugged in. Verify that the AC power source is active, checking the switch or fuse. Confirm that the power switch is in the 'on' position by pushing it in. Also, inspect the line fuse and replace it with a 0.5A 250V Fast Blow fuse if it's blown.

  If the remote, keypad, or IR sensors on your B&K Amplifier aren't working, first check the batteries in the remote to ensure they are not dead, missing, or installed incorrectly; replace them if needed. Verify that the IR lock is not enabled by checking the Advanced Security menu and unlocking the IR sensor if necessary. Ensure that the IR lens is not blocked and clean the front panel. Confirm that the IR code-set is set to 0-0-2. Also, check the wiring.

Inspect the AC ground in the main AC supply and repair any faulty cables. Reposition the audio cables if they are running across AC power.
