Why do all counts reset overnight on my Banner Q45?
    • S
      Susan RodriguezAug 13, 2025
The DXM Controller is programmed to reset all counts at 2 AM Central (observing DST).

How to fix Banner Security Sensors when directional counts are not changing?
    • S
      Susan CampbellAug 17, 2025
If the directional counts on your Banner Security Sensors are not changing, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the sensors may not be properly aligned, in which case you should realign them. Alternatively, the batteries might be low and need replacing. Try these two solutions to resolve the issue.

Why is the red LED flashing on my Banner Q45 Security Sensors?
    • Y
      yclarkAug 21, 2025
If the red LED on your Banner Security Sensors is flashing, it indicates that the sensors are not communicating with the DXM Controller. To resolve this, try repositioning the DXM Controller to improve the radio signal.

What to do if the Operator Interface no longer displays the counts for Banner Security Sensors?
    • J
      Johnny StephensAug 26, 2025
If the Operator Interface isn't displaying counts for your Banner Security Sensors, there are a few potential causes. It could be due to a delay after the DXM Controller was rebooted; allow up to 5 minutes for the counts to reappear and check the LED above the check mark button. Another reason might be a communication issue between the Operator Interface and the DXM Controller. Try moving them closer to each other to improve communication.

Why are my Banner Security Sensors double counting?
    • S
      Sharon MillerAug 28, 2025
If your Banner Security Sensors are double counting, there are a couple of potential reasons. One reason is that the sensors may not be properly aligned; try realigning them. Another cause could be that the sensor height is incorrect. Adjust the sensor height to prevent carts or other objects from inadvertently triggering the sensors.

How to troubleshoot a Banner Q45 Security Sensors Wireless TL70 Indicator Light that is not lighting up?
    • W
      William BlakeSep 1, 2025
If the Wireless TL70 Indicator Light isn't lighting up, it could be due to a few reasons. After the DXM Controller reboots, there might be a delay of up to five minutes before the LEDs turn on. You can also try removing the light module above the base by rotating the base counterclockwise and pulling it off of the segments, ensuring the lines on the notches align. Another possibility is that the TL70 Wireless Indicator Light may not be communicating with the DXM Controller, so try repositioning them to improve communication.

What to do if Banner Security Sensors are missing directional counts or over counting?
    • B
      Bradley GreenSep 5, 2025
If your Banner Security Sensors are missing directional counts or over counting, it might be because people are entering side-by-side. This can cause the sensors to register a single count instead of two. Instruct people to walk through in a single file and avoid stopping in front of the sensor's beam path.

    Matthew WattsSep 9, 2025
Why is the directional count opposite of expectation on my Banner Q45 Security Sensors?
    • J
      Jason PriceSep 9, 2025
If the directional count is opposite of what you expect on your Banner Security Sensors, the sensors A and B might be installed in reverse order. Verify that sensors A and B are installed in the correct order.
