It does not matter if the BARIGO E7/E7S is in time-, compass- or
altimeter mode.
Caution
To take the bearings, place the watch on a flat surface, or, if you are
wearing the watch, make sure your wrist is horizontal (to the hori-
zon). Failure to do so could lead to major measurement errors.
6.5 Using the compass
6.5.1 Direction indicator
1. Point the 12 o'clock position of your BARIGO E7/E7S in the
direction to be measured. Make sure the watch lies on a
flat surface, or, if you are wearing the watch, make sure
your wrist is horizontal to the horizon.
2. Press the S2 button to start taking the compass bearing.
