Configuring the Camera
Basler IP Camera 19
Image Rotation - Sets the degrees of rotation for the images captured by the sensor.
= Don’t rotate the images.
180° = Rotate the images 180 degrees.
Test Image Mode - Enables or disables the camera’s test image feature. When one of the test
image modes is enabled, the camera will generate test images using it’s digital devices rather than
the imaging sensor. The generated test images will be transmitted on all enabled streams. Test
images are useful for troubleshooting the camera’s basic functionality and the network connection.
Off = Test image function disabled.
Test Image 1 = Enable test image 1, a fixed diagonal gray scale gradient pattern.
Test Image 2 = Enable test image 2, a moving diagonal gray scale gradient pattern.
Test Image 3 = Enable test image 3, a moving diagonal gray scale gradient pattern.
Test Image 4 = Enable test image 4, a moving diagonal gray scale gradient pattern.
Test Image 5 = Enable test image 5, a moving diagonal gray scale gradient pattern.
Test Image 6 = Enable test image 6, a moving diagonal red/green/blue gradient pattern.
Test Image 7 = Is not intended for field use and should be avoided.
Stream Display - Selects the plugin that will be used to display encoded images in the web client’s
stream tabs.
Automatic = Automatically selects the most appropriate plugin from the plugins currently
installed on your web browser.
No Display = Display of image streams within the web client is disabled. You will still be able to
change parameter settings. This is a good choice if you only want to use the web client to
change settings. Access to the settings is faster with image display disabled.
Basler Plugin = Select the Basler plugin. The Basler Plugin is a good choice for displaying the
images. Note that if you have not installed the Basler ActiveX control on your browser, the
Basler Plugin will not be available for selection.
"Plugin Name" Plugin = Select the "Plugin Name" plugin. Depending on what plugins you have
installed on your web browser, several different plugins may be listed. Each plugin will be listed
by name. A plugin will only be listed here if it has been installed and can display the encoded
images.
