If you want help in setting off on inclines or to
get a smooth getaway at junctions and traffic
lights, there is a system available whereby
the motor can be applied even when no
assistance is selected. This is known as
Launch Assist and is activated by holding
down the UP button for 2 seconds.
The motor will be switched on in low speed
and will continue on until the UP button is
released. The bicycle will be powered at
approximately 4 MPH, (6 KMH).
The system is designed for intermittent use
and should not be used for more than a few
seconds at a time. If you want continuous
power then one of the Assist modes should
be selected.
BS EN15194 Compliance
The BATRIBIKE DASH conforms to BS EN15194.
For the British market, the addition of a throttle control has
rendered this not compliant in some countries.
