Securing the dishwasher
The dishwasher must be secured to the worktop.
o Standard worktop: Secure the
dishwasher to the underside of the
worktop and both sides of the
appliance by using wood screws
provided.
39
o You should screw through the holes
in the pre-drilled brackets in the top
and sides of the dishwasher.
o NOTE: you may need to remove the
screw covers to reveal the screw
holes. Once the screws are secured,
the rubber covers can be re-used to
cover the screws.
o The screws should be fully tightened.
o Marble/granite worktop: The material of the worktop will mean
that it is impossible to put a screw through the underneath of the
worktop.
o Simply secure the dishwasher to the cupboard on either side, by
screwing a wood screw through the pre-drilled holes into the
cupboards, as outlined in the standard worktop instructions above.
Before first use
You should check the following before using the appliance for the first
time:-
o That the dishwasher is level and fixed in position.
o That the water tap is fully open.
o That there are no leaks at either end of the drain or inlet hoses.
o That the inlet and outlet hose are fully tightened.
o That the inlet and outlet hoses are not kinked.
o That the power is switched on.
o That the water softener has been filled with 1 500ml of water
and salt.
o That the rinse aid dispenser has been filled.
