The detecting rod consists of a searching coil
adjusted to an oscillating circuit by condensers. Using
the switch on the handle of the detecting rod the
frequency can be adapted to the signal frequency of
the Audio Frequency Generator. The hinged
searching coil can be turned by 45° or 90°. The 45°
position is used for determination of the depth of
buried cables.
