Why does the display go blank when the Bayer HealthCare Blood Glucose Meter is turned on?
You may have accidentally pressed the button. The meter will also turn off after 3 minutes without use or 15 minutes of no use while waiting for you to apply blood or control solution. This is a normal expected action that saves battery life.
