6.1 Démarrage du moteur
1. Placez l’interrupteur ESC sur Désactivé [OFF] (1).
2. Tournez le commutateur 3-en-1 sur
STARTER [CHOKE] (3),
a. Le circuit d’allumage est sous tension.
b. L’arrivée de carburant est activée
c. Le starter est sous tension
CONSEIL: Le starter n’est pas nécessaire pour démarrer un moteur
chaud. Poussez le bouton de starter sur la position Activé [ON].
3. Tirez doucement sur le lanceur
à rappel jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclenche,
puis tirez-le rapidement.
CONSEIL: Tenez le générateur fermement par sa poignée de trans-
port pour empêcher qu’il ne se renverse lorsque vous tirez le lanceur
à rappel.
4. Après le démarrage du moteur,
ce que qu’il ne s’arrête pas lorsque
le bouton de starter est remis à la
position Activé [ON] (4).
CONSEIL: Lors du démarrage du moteur, mettez le contrôle ESC
en position Activé [ON] et retirez toute charge du générateur n’ayant
aucune charge:
• Si la température ambiante est inférieure à 0 °C (32 °F), le moteur
commence par tourner au régime nominal (4500 tr/min) pendant 5
• Si la température ambiante est inférieure à 5 °C (41 °F), le moteur
commence par tourner au régime nominal (4500 tr/min) pendant 3
• Le dispositif de contrôle ESC fonctionne normalement après la péri-
ode indiquée ci-dessus, du moment que le contrôle ESC demeure
activé.

4. Pull slowly on the recoil starter until it is
engaged, then pull it briskly.
TIP: Grasp the carrying handle firmly to prevent
the generator from falling over when pulling the
recoil starter.
