GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This vacuum must be grounded (earthed). If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding (earthing)
provides a path of least resistance for the electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This vacuum
is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding (earthing) plug.
The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded (earthed)
in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Waste of Electrical and Electrical Equipment (WEEE). The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product
may not be treated as household waste. Instead it should be handed over to applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electrical equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this
product. For more detailed information about this product, please contact your local waste disposal service or the local
authorized dealer/distributor where you purchased the product.
WARNING
Improper connection of the equipment grounding (earthing) conductor can result in a risk
of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as
to whether the outlet is properly grounded (earthed). Do not modify the plug provided with
the appliance – if the plug will not fit the electrical outlet, have a proper outlet installed

This vacuum is for use on a circuit having a nominal rating at 220/230/240 volts and is provided with
a specific cord and plug to permit connection to a proper electrical circuit. Make sure the vacuum is
connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adaptor should be used with this
vacuum. If the plug will not fit the electrical outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
