DCF symbol:
The radio tower symbol indicates that the DCF signal has been
successfully received. The weather staon synchronises the me
every night. The symbol begins ashing during synchronisaon. If
the me has been successfully received, then the symbol glows
connuously unl the next synchronisaon.
Trend display:
The trend display changes every hour. If can either be increa-
sing, constant or decreasing, provided the air pressure in the
measurement period changes by at least 2 hPa (=0.06 inHg).
Weather forecast:
The weather staon calculates a weather forecast for about 12 hours, which is
based on the air pressure trend. As expected, this forecast cannot be compared
with satellites or high-performance computers. The forecast shows only an appro-
ximaon of the current trend.
