Securing the Bobob Fix in the car
If one or both indicators are red, it means that the ISOFIX system is not
locked.
NB: Both indicators MUST show green.
Adjusting the height of the shoulder belts
NB: The shoulder belt should run horizontally as much as possible
(illustration 10).
Placing your child in the Bobob
up to 4 years (9-18 kg). Group 1.
This is an ISOFIX CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM. It is a approved to
regulation 44, 04 series of amendments for general use in vehicles
fitted with ISOFIX anchorages system.
The Bobob Fix is only suitable for cars with the Isofix seat fixing and a
top tether system installed in the seat back.
The Bobob Fix is to be secured by means of a ISOFIX child restraint
system.
The Bobob Fix should only be used when the airbags have been
deactivated.
The Bobob Fix is equipped with a 5-point belt with a central adjuster.
Lower ISOFIX locking arms into the horizontal position (illustrations 1).
Place the Bobob Fix Seat in the seat of vehicle (illustrations 2).
Insert ISOFIX locking arms into ISOFIX car device (illustrations 3).
Verify if both indicators are green in Bobob Fix front panel (illus. 4).
Then locate ISOFIX anchorage device in the vehicle (usually behind
vehicle back seat) (illustration 5).
Hook metal clamp of the top tether from Bobob Fix to car ISOFIX
anchorage device (illustration 6).
Tighten belt until a secure fix (illustration 7). Make sure the red
indicator on belt disappears, by pulling belt tightly (illustration 8).
The back of the Bobob Fix allows 3 positions for the shoulder belts.
In order to adjust the shoulder belts, first place the Bobob Fix in the
sitting position (illustration 11).
Adjust the position to the shoulder height of your child by squeezing
both plastic tabs to each other and then move either up or down to the
desired height (illustration 9 and 10).
You can adjust the Bobob Fix from the sitting position to the reclining
position by pulling the operating handle (illustrations 11 and 12).
The 5-point Bobob Fix seat belt can be loosened by pressing the red
metal central adjuster and pulling the seat belts towards you with your
other hand (illustrations 13).
Open the 5-point seat belt outwards and place your child in the Bobob
Fix (illustration 14).
Secure the 5-point belt as follows: Joint the two clips together
(illustration 15) and then fit it into the main buckle, until it clicks firmly
into position (illustrations 16).
Now tighten the 5-point seat belt with the central adjuster of the Bobob
Fix (illustration 17).
The Bobob Fix is suitable for children from the age of approx. 9 months
