General
The Bobob should only be used in the passenger’s seat or in the
back seat when the airbags have been deactivated.
Securing the Bobob in the car

Adjusting the height of the shoulder belts
NB: The shoulder belt should run horizontally as much as possible
(illustration 17).
The Bobob is suitable for children from the age of approx. 9 months
up to 4 years (9-18 kg). Group 1.
The Bobob is to be secured with the 3-point seat belt of the car, which
should have ECE approval no. 16 or an approval of equal quality. You
are not to use 2-point seat belts to secure the Bobob.
The back of the Bobob allows for 3 positions for the shoulder belts.
Adjust the position to the shoulder height of your child. The shoulder
belt should run horizontally as much as possible.
The Bobob is equipped with a 5-point belt with a central adjuster.
You can adjust the Bobob from the sitting position to the reclining
position by pulling the operating handle (illustrations 18 and 19).
Place the Bobob in the reclining position in the passenger’s seat or in
the back seat (illustrations 1 and 2).
Guide the seat belt through between the back of the child’s seat and
the synthetic frame (illustration 3). Fasten the seat belt and hook the
hip-part of the seat belt under the base of the seat in the belt guides
(illustration 4).
Now adjust the Bobob to the sitting position (illustration 5). Make
sure that the shoulder-part of the seat belt runs across the red block of
the belt clamp and under the metal clip (illustration 6; 7 and 8).
Close the belt clamp (illustration 9).
The 5-point Bobob seat belt can be loosened by pressing the red
metal central adjuster and pulling the seat belts towards you with your
other hand (illustrations 13 and 15).
Open the 5-point seat belt outwards and place your child in the Bobob
(illustration 10).
Secure the 5-point belt as follows: Joint the two clips together
(illustration 11) and then fit it into the main buckle, until it clicks firmly
into position (illustrations 12).
Now tighten the 5-point seat belt with the central adjuster of the Bobob
(illustration 14).
The back of the Bobob SPP allows 3 positions for the shoulder belts.
In order to adjust the shoulder belts, first place the Bobob SPP in the
sitting position (illustration 18).
Adjust the position to the shoulder height of your child by squeezing
both plastic tabs to each other and then move either up or down to the
desired height (illustration 16).
You can adjust the Bobob SPP from the sitting position to the reclining
position by pulling the operating handle (illustrations 18 and 19).
