Indicator lamp (10)
The appliance is equipped with an indica-
tor lamp to indicate heating activity.
As soon as the water heats, the red indi-
cator lamp (10) lights up.
The red indicator lamp lights up intermit-
tently while keeping warm and intermittent
boiling.
Operation and use

Insert the plug of the base station into
the mains socket.
Put the appliance onto the base sta-
tion.
The appliance is turned on and off via the
rotary switch (8). When the rotary switch is
turned anticlockwise until it stops, the ap-
pliance is switched off.
The settings and temperatures can be ob-
tained from the table in the section Rotary
switch (page 21).

For this, proceed as follows:
Remove the water tank from the base
station.
Remove the tea pot and the lid and ll
with water. Pay attention to the maxi-
mum level mark (13).
Put the lid and the teapot back onto
the appliance.
Dry the appliance if required before
putting it back onto the base station.
