Startup

Remove the appliance, all accessory 
parts and the user manual from the
box.
Remove all packaging materials and 
protective foils from the product and
the accessories before using it for the
rst time.
NOTE
Never remove the rating plate or any ►
warning signs on the appliance.
Keep the original packaging during ►
the warranty or guarantee period of
the appliance in order to return the
appliance in the packaging in the
event of a warranty or guarantee
claim. Transport damage will invali-
date the warranty or guarantee.

Check for visible signs of damage or 
missing items.
Report incomplete or damaged con- 
tents to your supplier immediately.

Familiarise yourself with the appliance and
the accessories using this user manual
before using the appliance for the rst
time.
Before using for the rst time, clean ■
the appliance and accessories as de-
scribed in the section Cleaning and
maintenance (page 25).
NOTE
When using for the rst time, it is ►
possible that production-related
additives such as grease could
cause slight odour or smoke. This is
completely normal! Ensure sufcient
ventilation.
