To prepare hot instant drinks such as instant
coffee, add the appropriate amount to the
cup. Subsequently pour hot water from the
Samovar into the cup.
After using
Switch off the appliance and pull the plug 1.

Before beginning any cleaning work, pay
attention to the safety instructions in the sec-

Cleaning

sary.
Rinse the jug and the accessories used 3.
thoroughly with clear water and allow them
to dry.
The removable parts can be cleaned in a 4.

Descaling
Depending on the frequency of use and the
water quality, the water tank must be des-
caled roughly every 1 – 2 weeks.
CAUTION
When the bottom of the water tank is ►
scaled, the resulting heat accumulation can
cause damage.
To descale the water tank, proceed as fol-
lows:
Fill the water tank (7) with a mixture of 1.
water and a little descaling agent or vinegar
essence and allow the mixture to boil briey.
Allow the descaling mixture to work for 2.
some time.
Shake the jug a few times and then pour 3.
out the descaling mixture together with the
dissolved scale residues. Allow some of the
descaling solution to run through the dispens-
ing tap in order to descale this also.
Rinse out with clear water and allow this 4.
also to run through the dispensing tap.
Repeat the process, if necessary.5.
Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance for
a longer period of time, clean it as described
in the section Cleaning and maintenance
(page 18) to prevent mould from building up.
Mould can damage the appliance and cause
marks that cannot then be removed.
Store the appliance and all accessory parts
at a dry, clean and frost-free location which is
protected against direct sunlight.
General
Guarantee
In addition to the statutory warranty obliga-
tion, BEEM also grants an extended manu-
facturer's guarantee for some products. If
this guarantee applies, you will nd the
corresponding information either on the
product-specic packaging, in the advertising
materials or on the BEEM web page for the
respective product.
For commercial or equivalent use, e.g. in ho-
tels, guest houses or communal premises, or
if the customer is not a consumer as dened
by the German Civil Code, the guarantee
period is 6 months. This does not infringe the
warranty disclaimer.
