13. AMP – pressing this button
accesses the AMP menu.
VCA A: Attack (adjusts attack
time of the VCA envelope
generator from 0 to 99)
VCA B: Decay (adjusts decay
time of the VCA envelope
generator from 0 to 99)
VCA A: Sustain (adjusts sustain
level of the VCA envelope
generator from 0 to 99)
VCA B: Release (adjusts release
time of the VCA envelope
generator from 0 to 99)
VCA A: Amount (adjusts the
amount of EG modulation of
the VCF from 0 to 99)
VCA B: ‑‑‑‑‑‑
14. ARP – pressing this button
accesses the arpeggiator menu.
ARP A: Set (Keyboard
Arpeggiator)
ARP B: ‑‑‑‑‑‑
ARP A: Motif (Up, Down, Up
& Down)
ARP B: BPM (adjusts the speed
of the arpeggiator between
20 bpm and 240 bpm)
ARP A: Scale (adjusts the scale
of the arpeggiator (1/8, 1/8T,
1/16, 1/16T, 1/32)
ARP B: Swing (adjusts the swing
amount of the arpeggiator
between 50% and 75%)
ARP A: Source (selects theclock
source (Internal, MIDI, USB).
If USB is selected a Start/
Stop command must be sent
via USB to start and stop the
arpeggiator.
15. SETTINGS – pressing this button
accesses the settings menu.
KEY A: OCT (sets the octave of
the internal keyboard)
KEY B: HOLD (O/On)
CHO A: ENABLE (O/On)
CHO B: Set (Octave/4th/5th/
Major/Minor/EDM1/EDM2/
Jazz)
VCF A: Trigger (switches lter
envelope re‑trigger on or o)
VCF B: ‑‑‑‑‑‑ (there is no
option B)
MID A: TXCH (selects the MIDI
transmit channel, can be set to
OFF for external control)
MID B: RXCH (selects the MIDI
receive channel)
MID A: Velocity (switches
MIDI velocity on or o)
MID B: ‑‑‑‑ (there is no
option B)
JT-4000M MICRO Controls
PROG BULK SYX SEND
(activates SysEx dump of
all programs)
PROG SING SYX SEND
(activates SysEx dump oif
current program only)
SYSEX RECEIVE (activates
SysEx receive)
FACTORY RESET (sets all
parameters back to factory
defaults and displays current
rmware version)
Press the Enter button (5)
to initiate reset.
To save an edited program exit
menu and return to main screen by
pressing the current menu button
(10‑15), then press ENTER to save
the renamed program. The ‘*’ will
be removed, to show that the edits
have been saved.
