Quick Functions Overview
A. POWERING ON / OFF
Opening the LCD screen cover will power the camcorder on automatically.
Closing the LCD screen cover will power off the camcorder automatically.
Once the LCD screen cover is open, you may press the [POWER] key for 3 seconds to power the camcorder on or off.
B. RECORDING VIDEO
Once the camcorder is powered on, it will default to VIDEO mode. To begin recording video, press the [RECORD] button.
Once recording begins, you may press the [OK] button to pause recording. Once paused, pressing the [OK] button again will resume recording.
Pressing the [RECORD] button during a recording will stop the recording.
To shoot a quick photo while recording a video, press [PHOTO] button. Please refer to page 7 for more detail.
C. SHOOTING PHOTOGRAPHS
While in VIDEO mode, press the Press the [MODE] button to cycle to the PHOTO mode.
Once in PHOTO mode, half-press the [PHOTO] button while the camcorder focuses on the intended subject.
Once the camcorder's view is in focus, the on-screen focus frame will shift to green. Once the focus frame shifts to green, you may now fully press the
[PHOTO] button to shoot a photograph.
D. DATE & TIME SETUP
Press the [ ] menu on the touchscreen display and select [ ] to enter the system settings menu.
Press [BASIC SETTINGS] and then select [TIME SETTINGS].
On the ttime settings screen, adjust the time and date by pressing the [LEFT] / [RIGHT] / [UP] / [DOWN] keys set until the desired date and time is set.
E. TIME / DATE STAMP
Press the [ ] menu on the touchscreen display and select [ ] to enter the system settings menu.
Press [DATE STAMP] and then select [ON] or [OFF]. Please note that selecting [ON] will print the date and time onto your recorded video and
photographs.
