What to do if AVR voltage cannot be adjusted to 94.5 Vac in "Adj" mode in Belmont BELRAY II 097?

      Cynthia SmithAug 3, 2025
If you can't adjust the AVR voltage to 94.5 Vac in "Adj" mode for your Belmont dental equipment, first, check the cables between the control box and head to ensure they are correctly connected. If the cables are fine, the power generating PCB or timer PCB might be defective. Try replacing the power PCB first. If the AVR voltage still cannot be adjusted after replacing the power PCB, replace the timer PCB.

Why doesn't "FIN" appear in tube current confirmation mode on my Belmont BELRAY II 097 Dental equipment?
    • M
      Melanie GarzaAug 18, 2025
If "FIN" doesn't appear in the tube current confirmation mode on your Belmont dental equipment, it could be due to the AVR voltage being too high or too low. If the voltage is outside the range of 94.5±0.5Vac, adjust the voltage using VR1. If the voltage is within the correct range, manually set the final h.XX and e.XX values by pressing P·C·F and the power switch to enter manual setting mode.
