Remove the upper coupling pin (13) and the dust cover (14)
from the steering plate.
7.7.2 CHECK LOWER STEERING PLATE
Check that none of the components of the steering plate are
broken.
Check that the steering roller cages are not excessively worn
or broken.
Change the elements damaged or worn if necessary.
7.7.3 MOUNT LOWER STEERING PLATE
Carry out in reverse order to dismantling.
Tighten the ring-nut (1).
40 N·m 4 Kg-m
Tighten the counter ring-nut (2).
