subito dopo collegare la batteria, posizionata sull’ap-
posita mensola 6 (fig. 3): la tromba emetterà un pic-
colo suono ed il lampeggiatore entrerà in funzione.
Fissate allora il sottocoperchio ed il coperchio della sire-
na ed attendete che il lampeggiatore smetta di funziona-
re (20 secondi circa). A questo punto la sirena è funzio-
nante e pronta per un eventuale collaudo.
N.B. Se in fase di installazione/manutenzione, per
qualsiasi motivo si volesse montare/rimuovere il
sottocoperchio metallico mentre il lampeggiatore è
attivo, fare molta attenzione a non toccare i terminali
del lampeggiatore con il sottocoperchio stesso,
poichè potrebbe verificarsi un corto.
PROBLEMI
Se il lampeggiatore non funziona collegata la
batteria, può darsi che quest’ ultima sia scarica.
Chiudete allora i coperchi, attendete 20 secondi cir-
ca e mandate in allarme l’impianto.
Se la sirena suona (anche piano) ma il lampeggiato-
re non funziona, la batteria è scarica: si ricaricherà
in qualche ora attraverso il morsetto [+N].
Se collegata la batteria, chiusi i coperchi e trascorsi
20 secondi circa il lampeggiatore non cessa di
funzionare, controllate che sui morsetti di allarme
siano presenti i giusti potenziali (27.6 V su [+N]).
Questa sirena NON può essere usata come
dispositivo di segnalazione in sistemi di
rilevazione incendio

At this point the magnetodynamic horn will gener-
ate a little sound and the flasher will start. Fit the
metal innerplate and box.
Wait for the flasher to stop (approx. 20 secs) before
testing.
WARNING: If you are fitting or removing the metal
innerplate while the flasher is active, DO NOT allow
it to come into contact with the flasher terminals,
as this may cause a short-circuit.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Flasher does not function when the battery is
connected.
The battery may be low:
-check the battery status
-close the box properly
-wait approximately 20 seconds and then simulate
alarm status. If the horn output is low and the flasher
is inactive—the battery is obviously low. Charge the
battery for several hours (use terminal [+N]).
Flasher continues flashing after 20 seconds (bat-
tery connected—box closed):
-check the electrical status on alarm terminals (i.
e. 27.6 V on [+N]).
This siren is NOT intended to be used as sig-
nalling device with fire detection systems.
