Battery indicator
When the battery is about to run out the instrument
will beep at regular intervals and the Status light
turns off if it is set for continuous mode.
Optional tamper-resistant battery drawer
This is recommended for infants, small children and
people with learning difficulties to prevent them from
accidentally swallowing the battery. The drawer opens
the same as a regular one but the battery will not come
out until you insert a small instrument (pen tip, paper
clip end, etc.) into the opening at the back to push the
battery out.
Note: Do not force the battery drawer open or closed,
excessive strain may deform it.
