DAI adjustment
The input level on the DAI shoe
can be adjusted with a small
screwdriver.
Recommended sensitivity settings:
Hi: for radio, TV, walkman, MP3,
PC equipment.
Lo: for ear level FM systems and
body worn FM equipment.
When an FM or DAI shoe is attached:
Program 1 is the microphone program.
Program 2 is the FM/DAI program for listening only
to FM or DAI signals.
Program 3 mixes the microphone with FM/DAI or telecoil
signals so you can listen to both sources. Your Hearing
Care Professional can configure program 3 for either
DAI/FM + microphone or telecoil + microphone.
(See page 21).
Note: The safety of hearing instruments with DAI
(Direct Audio Input) is determined by the external signal
source. When the DAI is connected to an electrically
powered device, the equipment must comply with
EN 60601-1-1, EN 60065 or equivalent safety standards.
