This appliance shall only be installed by an

it will be installed. The installation of this
appliance must conform to local
codes and
ordinances.Intheabsenceoflocalcodes,
InstallationsmustconformstoAmericanNational
Standards.
The appliance, when installed, must be
electrically grounded in accordance with local
codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the
NationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.
All opening andholes in the
wall and floor, back
and under the appliance shall be sealed before
installationoftheappliance.

ROOM VENTILATION: An exhaust fan may be
used with the appliance; in each case it shall be
installed in conformity with the appropriate
national and local standards. Exhaust hood
operationmayaffectotherventedappliances; in
each case it shall be installed in conformity with
theappropriatenationalandlocalstandards.
INSTALLINGTHELEGS
Bertazzonirangesmustbeusedonlywiththe
legsproperlyinstalled.
Fourheight‐adjustablelegsareshippedwiththe
rangeinthepolystyrenecontainersituatedover
theappliance.
Before installing the legs, position the appliance
nearitsfinallocationasthe legs are notsuitable
formovingtheapplianceoverlong
distances.
After unpacking the range, raise it enough to
insert the legs in the appropriate receptacles
situated on the lower part of the appliance.
Lowertherangegentlytokeepanyunduestrain
fromlegsandmountinghardware.Ifpossibleuse
apalletorliftjackinsteadoftiltingthe
unit.
Adjust leg height to the desired level by twisting
the inside portion of the leg assembly until the
properheightisreached. Check with a level that
thecooktopisperfectlylevel.
