Why is there excessive filter pressure in my Bestway Water Filtration System?
    • C
      Cynthia AvilaAug 6, 2025
Excessive filter pressure in Bestway Water Filtration Systems can be due to several reasons. It could be a dirty filter, in which case you should backwash it. Another cause might be a calcified sand bed, requiring you to inspect the sand and change it if necessary. Insufficient backwashing can also lead to this issue, so backwash until the water runs clear. Lastly, a broken pressure gauge can give a false reading, so consider replacing it.

What to do if there is no water flow in Bestway Water Filtration Systems?
    • R
      ramirezsarahAug 11, 2025
If your Bestway Water Filtration System has no water flow, there are several possible causes. First, ensure that the stopper plugs were removed and the debris screens inserted. Next, make sure any trapped air has been released from the system. Check that the control valve is set to the filter function, and that the strainer isn't blocked – clean it if necessary. If none of these steps work, the sand filter may be broken, and you should call for service.

    • J
      Jason StewartAug 18, 2025
If you notice sand flowing into your pool from your Bestway Water Filtration System, it could be due to a few reasons. The sand you're using might be too small; it's recommended to use 0.45 mm to 0.85 mm #20 silica sand. Also, check if the sand level is too high, ensuring it's between the marked “MAX” and “MIN” levels on the hub. Lastly, the skimmer might be broken, requiring a replacement.

If the connectors on your Bestway Water Filtration System are leaking, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the washer of the connectors is not in place and reposition it. If the washer is broken, replace it. Another potential issue is a broken O-ring on the hose connection, which would also need replacement. Finally, ensure that all hoses are tightened properly.

      Catherine StanleyAug 30, 2025
If the control valve on your Bestway Water Filtration System is leaking from port D, it could be due to two main reasons. First, check that the control valve is set to one specific function and not in between two. If that's not the issue, the gasket might be broken and needs to be replaced.
