WARNING – Danger of Fire
■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances.
■ Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material.
■ Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fi re.
■ Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that
these do not become clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ The device should only be used if it has been correctly assembled!
■ Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket:
– before inserting or removing the beer keg,
– before inserting or removing the CO
2
cartridge,
– before fi lling or emptying the cooling container,
– before assembling and taking apart the device,
– before cleaning,
– before maintenance,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before a thunderstorm.
■ The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
■ When removing the mains plug from the plug socket, always pull on the mains plug
and never the mains cable.
■ Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■ Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there
is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible
damage.
■ Protect the device from other heat sources, naked fl ames, direct sunlight, persistent
moisture and collisions.
Before Initial Use
• Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
• Assemble the device (see the “Preparation” chapter – “Setting Up and Assembling
the Device”).
• There may still be some production residues on the device and the accessories. To
avoid harmful eff ects to your health, clean all parts thoroughly before you fi rst use
them (see the "Cleaning" chapter).
