Danger of bursting! Never cool beer kegs in a chest-type freezer! Cooling in a
chest-type freezer can cause beer kegs to burst.
IMPORTANT! For the device to work in the optimum way, various preparation steps
as well as periods of maintenance and rest are required. Familiarise yourself with
the preparation and set aside su cient time for this.
It can take up to 15 hours for beer at a temperature of 22 24 °C to cool
down to 2 10 °C in the device. We recommend cooling t
he beer keg in the
fridge rst to speed up the cooling process. This allows you to have a second
beer keg on hand ready to be used immediately.
Never cool beer kegs in a chest-type freezer! Rapid chilling of beer results
in a loss of quality.
Allow the beer keg to rest for around two hours before it is prepared for tap-
ping or tapped into to prevent excessive frothing when you tap into it.
