The BIGBIG WON ARMOR-X is a wireless back button attachment designed to enhance the gaming experience for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and Windows 10/11 platforms. It attaches to an Xbox Series controller, providing additional customizable buttons and features.

Function Description

The ARMOR-X serves as a back button attachment for Xbox Series controllers, offering four additional programmable buttons (M1, M2, M3, M4) on the back. It supports both wireless and wired connections to various gaming platforms. Key functionalities include:

  • Mapping Button: Allows users to assign controller functions to the M1-M4 back buttons.
  • Hair Trigger: Enables faster trigger response for competitive gaming.
  • Turbo Button: Provides rapid-fire functionality for selected buttons.

Usage Features

Attachment and Connection

  1. Attaching the ARMORX: Remove the battery compartment cover from the Xbox Series controller, attach the ARMORX to the battery compartment, and plug its USB-C flexible cable into the controller's USB port.
  2. Charging: Fully charge the ARMORX before first use (approximately 2.5 hours).
  3. Wireless Connection:
    • Turn on the ARMORX by holding the power button.
    • Plug the USB wireless adapter into the console's USB port.
    • The ARMORX will automatically detect the platform.
    • LED1 will flash slowly during connection, then fast during pairing, and become solid when connected. The adapter indicator mirrors this behavior.
    • LED2 flashes indicate an unsuccessful connection between ARMORX and the controller; a solid LED2 indicates a successful connection.
    • For Switch consoles, enable "Pro Controller Wired Communication On" in System Settings > Controllers and Sensors.
  4. Wired Connection:
    • After attaching the ARMORX to the controller, hold the power button to turn it on.
    • Connect the ARMORX's Type-C port to the console using a Type-C cable.
    • Both ARMORX indicators (LED1 and LED2) will become solid, signifying a successful wired connection.
    • Note: The 3.5mm audio jack is only available under wired connection.

Re-Pairing

If the ARMORX and adapter lose their pairing:

  1. Turn on the ARMORX and hold the "A+B+FN" buttons until LED1 flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  2. Plug the adapter into the console and hold its pair button until its indicator flashes rapidly, entering pairing mode.
  3. Wait for both LED1 and the adapter indicator to become solid, confirming successful re-pairing.

Hair Trigger

To activate hair trigger functionality:

  1. Hold the "LT/RT" button and the Left Trigger (LT) simultaneously. LED2 will flash cyan twice, indicating success.
  2. Hold the "LT/RT" button and the Right Trigger (RT) simultaneously. LED2 will flash cyan twice, indicating success.
  • LED2 will flash cyan when a trigger with hair trigger function is pressed.
  • Double-clicking the hair trigger button will cancel all hair trigger settings.

Mapping Button

  1. Mapping Setting:
    • Press "A+B" and the desired back button (M1/M2/M3/M4) to enter mapping mode. LED2 will breathe green.
    • Press the target button on the controller to map its function. LED2 will flash twice, confirming success.
  2. Cancel Mapping:
    • Hold the back button (M1-M4) whose mapping needs to be canceled and double-click the "A+B" button. LED2 will flash green twice, confirming success.
  3. Cancel All Mapping:
    • Double-click the "A+B" button. LED2 will flash green twice, confirming success.

Turbo Button

Supported buttons for Turbo: ABXY, D-pad, LT/RT/LB/RB, M1-M4, RS/LS.

  1. Turbo Setting:
    • Hold the "Turbo" button and the desired button to activate Turbo. The controller will vibrate for 0.2 seconds, and LED2 will flash orange twice.
  2. Cancel Turbo:
    • Hold the "Turbo" button and double-click the "Turbo" button. LED2 will flash orange twice, confirming success.
  3. Cancel All Buttons' Turbo:
    • Double-click the "Turbo" button. LED2 will flash orange twice, and all Turbo settings will be canceled.
  4. Change Turbo Frequency:
    • Hold "FN" and the "Up" arrow to cycle through frequencies: 5/s, 10/s, 20/s. (Note: Turbo frequency is not affected by on-board profiles).

Macro Recording

Supported buttons for Macro: ABXY, D-pad, LT/RT/LB/RB, M1-M4, RS/LS.

  1. Macro Recording:
    • Press "FN" and the desired back button (M1/M2/M3/M4). LED2 will breathe red, indicating recording mode.
    • Press the desired buttons on the controller to record the macro.
    • After recording, click "FN" once. LED2 will flash twice, signifying the end of recording.
    • LED2 will slowly flash while the macro is executing.
  2. Cancel Macro:
    • Hold the back button (M1-M4) whose macro needs to be canceled and double-click "FN". LED2 will flash red twice, confirming success.
  3. Cancel All Macros:
    • Double-click "FN". LED2 will flash red twice, confirming success.

Adjustment of Rumble Motor

  1. Trigger Motor Vibration:
    • Press "FN" and the "Left" arrow to cycle through trigger motor vibration intensities: strong, medium, weak, off.
  2. Handle Motor Vibration:
    • Press "FN" and the "Right" arrow to cycle through handle motor vibration intensities: strong, medium, weak, off.

On-Board Profile

The ARMORX has three on-board profiles, indicated by LED1 color:

  1. Orange: First profile.
  2. Green: Second profile.
  3. Blue: Third profile.
  • Cycle through profiles by clicking the "Profile Switch" button.

Maintenance Features

Battery Status

  • Low Battery: When the battery is low, the controller will vibrate 3 times, and LED1 will flash rapidly in red. This cycle repeats every 5 minutes.
  • Charging: During charging, LED1 will be solid red. Once fully charged, LED1 will turn solid green.
  • Battery Life: The 1300mAh battery provides approximately 10 hours of use. High-frequency vibration significantly reduces battery life.
