The BIGBIG WON RAINBOW Wired Game Controller is a versatile input device designed for an enhanced gaming experience across multiple platforms, including Windows 10+ PCs and Nintendo Switch. It is also compatible with PS4/PS5 when used with an R90 adapter (sold separately). The controller connects via a Micro-USB cable, ensuring a stable and low-latency connection.

Function Description

The controller features a standard layout with several key components for comprehensive control. On the front, it includes a HOME Button (A), SELECT Button (B), START Button (C), and a Mode Indicator (D). For in-game actions, there's a Capture Button (E), A/B/X/Y Action Buttons (F), and a Cross button (G). Navigation and camera control are managed by the Left Joystick/L3 (H) and Right Joystick/R3 (I). A Function indicator (J) provides visual feedback on various controller states.

The top of the controller houses an FN Button (K) and Custom Back Buttons (L), which are programmable for personalized gameplay. The bottom of the controller includes an LT Button (M), LB Button (N), RT Button (O), and RB Button (P), which are typically used for triggers and bumpers. For connectivity and audio, there's a USB Charging Port (Q) and a 3.5mm Audio Port (R). The Micro-USB Cable (S) is used for connecting the controller to devices.

Usage Features

Connecting to Devices:

• Switch: To connect to a Switch, users must first enable "Pro Controller Wired Communication" in the Switch's System Settings. The Micro-USB cable can then be plugged into the Switch dock, or the controller can be connected directly to the Switch via an OTG cable (sold separately). A successful connection is indicated by a red Mode Indicator and the appearance of the controller icon on the Switch's main interface.
• Windows 10 PC: For Windows 10 PCs, simply plug the USB cable into a PC port. The Mode Indicator will turn green upon successful connection.

Button Functions:

• Global Gyro: The controller supports global gyroscope functionality for both left and right joysticks. To activate the left joystick global gyroscope, long-press the FN button and then press down the Left Joystick/L3 button simultaneously. The mode indicator light will turn purple. Repeat the action to turn it off. The same procedure applies to the right joystick, using the Right Joystick/R3 button.
• Responsive Global Gyro: This feature allows specific response buttons (LT/LB/RT/RB/M1/M2/M3/M4) to activate the global gyro function. To set this, long-press the desired response button, then press and hold the Right Joystick R3 button + FN button. The mode indicator will turn purple. This means the global gyro will only activate when the set response button is pressed. Users should be aware that setting LT/LB/RT/RB as responsive buttons may affect their native functions. If the intention is to use the button solely as a somatosensory response switch, its function can be set as blank in the BIGBIG WON APP.

Calibration:

• Gyro Calibration: To calibrate the gyroscope, place the controller horizontally on a desktop. Long-press the FN + Capture button simultaneously until the Function indicator turns on and breathes in orange, signaling entry into automatic calibration. During the 3-5 second calibration period, the controller should not be moved or used. A successful calibration is indicated by the Function indicator double flashing and then turning off. If the indicator lights go out directly without flashing, calibration has failed and needs to be repeated.
• Joystick & Trigger Calibration: This calibration ensures accurate joystick and trigger input. Long-press SELECT + START for 3 seconds until the four indicators inside the controller turn on. Then, push each joystick to its limit and rotate it at a constant speed, repeating 3-5 times. Similarly, press the LT/RT buttons to their limit and release, repeating 3-5 times. Pressing SELECT + START again will complete the calibration, with the indicator lights double flashing and then turning off.

Advanced Features:

• TURBO Function: This function allows for rapid, repeated input of a button. To activate, press and hold the FN button, then press the TARGET button. The mode indicator will flash orange twice. The combo frequency (fast, middle, slow) can be adjusted by pressing FN + LEFT button of the D-pad simultaneously. To cancel the TURBO function, press and hold the FN button, then press the TARGET button again. Buttons that can be set with TURBO include A/B/X/Y, LB/RB/LT/RT.
• MACRO Function: The back buttons M1-M4 can be customized as macro buttons. To record a macro, long-press the FN button, then press the target back button. The mode indicator will breathe in blue, indicating macro recording mode. After recording the button sequence and interval, press the target back button once. The mode indicator will flash blue twice to exit recording. Pressing the target back button again will execute the recorded macro. To cancel a macro, re-enter recording mode for that button and press the target back button once; the mode indicator will flash blue once to confirm cancellation. Macro-settable buttons include A/B/X/Y, LT/LB/RT/RB, L3/R3, and direction buttons.
• Volume Control: For Windows 10 users, pressing FN + Cross key up/down buttons of the D-pad simultaneously allows for volume adjustment.
• Motor Vibration Intensity Adjustment: The controller's motor vibration has four levels: strong, medium, weak, and off, which can be cycled through. The default intensity is the highest. To adjust, press and hold the FN button, then press the right button of the D-pad.
• Joystick Dead Zone Adjust: The BIGBIG WON APP allows users to adjust the joystick dead zone. Setting a dead zone is recommended to prevent joystick drifting.
• Custom Button Function: Through the BIGBIG WON APP, users can customize the functions of the RAINBOW controller's buttons. Back buttons (M1/M2/M3/M4) can copy functions from other buttons, and function buttons can also be deleted by copying the back buttons.
• AURORA RGB Lighting Effect Switch: Double-clicking the FN button quickly switches between different controller lighting effects. More lighting modes and custom effects are available via the BIGBIG WON APP. If the controller remains unconnected for 30 minutes, the light effect will automatically turn off and can be reactivated by pressing any button.

  • Verify that the RAINBOW controller and the device are in a normal connection state.
  • For Android devices, open "Settings > Bluetooth > Other Devices" to connect to Rainbow.
  • Open the BIGBIG WON APP to uniquely set up the RAINBOW controller.
