CAUTION: In case of power failure, the Sequenal Circulator shall automacally power
o. The pump does not have a baery backup nor mer memory. Once power is re-
stored, the Sequenal Circulator will need to be powered on in order to resume treat-
ment. User must keep apprised of alloed treatment me.
GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR TREATMENT
Physician must prescribe sengs for use with this device. The general guidelines below
are for informaonal purposes only and should not replace sengs provided by
physician. 60mmHg is an eecve seng for many paents. Physician must provide
paent’s sengs.
The presence of broc ssue may require a pressure of 80mmHg in order to soen the
broc ssue and achieve reducon. Once ssue soens, compression may be reduced
to 60mmHg, if determined by physician
Paents with a history of Congesve Heart Failure (CHF), which is controlled by
medicaon, should never be in a at posion while using the Sequenal Circulator. These
paents should be in a reclined posion with their legs elevated during treatment. It is
suggested that treatment regimens be divided into two daily 30-minute treatments.
Paents with a history of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), with or without a lter, may
require less compression pressure, 40mmHG is generally tolerable but must be
prescribed by a physician. Paents with a lter may need to divide treatment into two
daily 30-minute sessions. It is suggested that the provider obtain a Negave Doppler
Study from the physician for their records.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Exterior Pump Case Cleaning instrucons:
1. Clean the exterior case and tubing with a damp (not wet) cloth using mild soap and
water soluon once per month
WARNING!
Only an authorized technician may open the pump
Before cleaning, unplug power cord from electrical outlet
GARMENT CLEANING/DISINFECTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Disconnect garment from device.
2. Open garment to expose all sides either by separang Velcro type hook and loop or
by unzipping (depending on type of garment).
WARNING!
Do not allow liquids to enter pump, as this can present an electrical hazard
Always allow the pump to dry before using
Do not use bleach on the pump
3. Cleaning soluon should consist of 1/3 cup of laundry detergent per 1 gallon of
warm tap water. Use either a large sink or plasc tub able to hold enough soluon
(depending on size and quanty of garments) to completely submerge the garment
leaving the latch connector bars out of the water.
