How to fix a jammed push button on Biohit Proline?
    • C
      Carl Lewis MDAug 2, 2025
If the push button on your Biohit Laboratory Equipment is jammed or moving erratically, it could be due to a contaminated piston or penetration of solvent vapors. To resolve this, clean and grease the O-ring and piston, and also clean the tip cone.

      Laura BakerAug 8, 2025
If you notice droplets remaining inside the tip of your Biohit Laboratory Equipment, it could be due to using an unsuitable tip. Try using original Biohit tips. Another possible cause is non-uniform wetting of the tip plastic; in this case, attach a new tip.

      Cheryl NelsonAug 21, 2025
If your Biohit Laboratory Equipment's pipettor is blocked or the aspirated volume is too small, it's possible that liquid has penetrated the tip cone and dried. To fix this, clean and grease the O-ring and piston, and also clean the tip cone.

Why is there leakage or small volume with my Biohit Laboratory Equipment?
    • S
      Stacy CruzOct 27, 2025
If you're experiencing leakage or the pipetted volume is too small with your Biohit Laboratory Equipment, several factors could be at play. Ensure the tip is firmly attached and that you're using original Biohit tips. Foreign particles or contamination might be present between the tip and tip cone, or the instrument itself could be contaminated; in such cases, clean the tip cone and attach a new tip. An insufficient amount of grease on the piston and O-ring could also be the culprit, so clean and grease these components. Check that the O-ring is correctly positioned and not damaged; replace it if necessary. Confirm you are operating the equipment correctly by carefully following the instructions. If the calibration is altered or unsuitable for the liquid, recalibrate as per the instruction...
