  Several factors can cause leakage or insufficient volume: * A newly attached tip might have non-uniform wetting of the plastic, so attach a new tip. * The tip might not be firmly attached; ensure it is properly secured. * The tip might be unsuitable; use original tips. * Foreign particles might be present between the tip and tip cone; clean the tip cone and attach a new tip. * The tip cone holder might not be tightened correctly; tighten it. * The pipette might be damaged; in this case, return it to your Biohit service representative for servicing.
