• Turn the sharpener dial to position 2 and run for 15 seconds to take the burr off
the front edge of the blade.
• Stop the machine using the STOP/OFF button.
• Remove the sharpener from the slicer.
• Reset the thickness knob to the 0
0
or closed position.
• Clean the blade.

• ALWAYS wear protective gloves when maintaining the slicer.
• NEVER perform any unauthorized maintenance on the slicer.
