Safety is a primary concern in the design and
manufacture of our products. Regrettably, our
efforts to provide safe equipment can be eliminated
by the negligent operator.
In addition to design, configuration of equipment,
hazard control and accident prevention depend
upon knowledge, interest, judgment and proper
training of personnel involved in the operation,
transport, maintenance and storage of equipment.
It has been said "The best safety device is an
informed and careful operator." We ask you to be
this type of operator.
NOTICE
Make sure that all personnel operating is aware that
if the hydraulic fluid is injected into the skin must be
surgically removed as soon as possible by a doctor
familiar with this type of lifting injury or gangrene,
serious injury or death will result. Call your doctor
immediately if the fluid enters the skin or eyes. Do
not delay.
Before operation read the instruction manual,
secure lock, and check stability. The secure locking
prevents the equipment from falling due to a
hydraulic leak, hydraulic system failure, or failure of
a mechanical component.
Never perform service or maintenance with the
engine running.
NOTICE
Before dismounting the rear blade to perform any
service or maintenance, follow these steps: Turn off
the power of this equipment, lower to ground the
hitch box and all components, operate the levers of
the valve to release any hydraulic pressure, the
parking brake turn off the engine, remove the key,
and loosen the seat belt.
Keep everyone away from the control area operator
during adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
CAUTION
Always use relatively narrow and tight clothes to
prevent entanglement in moving parts. Use
anti-skid safety shoes and protective equipment for
eyes, hair, hands, ears and head.
Keep hands and body away from the pipes and
hydraulic hoses. Use paper or cardboard, not hands
or other body parts to check for leaks. Wear safety
glasses. The pressurized hydraulic fluid can easily
penetrate the skin and cause serious injury or
death.
