NOTICE
Before removal of the rear blade or performing any
service or maintenance, follow these steps: Turn off
the power to equipment, lower the hitch box and all
components raised to the ground, operate the
levers of the valve to release any hydraulic
pressure, the parking brake, turn off the engine,
remove the key, and unfasten the seat belt.
Before operation read the instruction manual,
secure lock, and check stability. Safely lock to
prevent the equipment from falling due to hydraulic
leak down hydraulic system failure, or failure of a
mechanical component. Keep all people away from
the control area operator during adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
Make sure that all operating personnel is aware that
if the hydraulic fluid is injected into the skin must be
surgically removed as soon as possible by a doctor
familiar with this type of lifting injury or gangrene,
serious injury or death will result. Call your doctor
immediately if the fluid enters the skin or eyes. Do
not delay.
CAUTION
Keep hands and body away from the pipes and
hydraulic hoses. Use paper or cardboard, not hands
or other body parts to check for leaks. Wear safety
glasses. The pressurized hydraulic fluid can easily
penetrate the skin and cause serious injury or
death.
Always use relatively narrow and tucked in clothing
to avoid entanglement in moving parts. Use
anti-skid safety shoes and protective equipment for
eyes, hair, hands, ears and head.
Tighten all pins, nuts and screws with the
specifications table touch. Check that all safety pins
and cotter pins are properly installed to ensure that
the equipment is in a safe state before putting the
unit into service.
Distributor setup instructions.
The assembly of this equipment is the responsibility
Bison distributor it must be delivered to the owner
completely assembled, lubricated and adjusted for
normal operating conditions. Assembly will be
easier if the components are aligned and
assembled loosely before tightening the screws.
The recommended torque values for the bolts are
on pages 59 and 60.
