Your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner might not be turning on due to several reasons. First, check that the power cord is properly plugged into the electrical outlet. Also, verify that you don't have a blown fuse or tripped breaker in your home. If the thermal protector has been activated, allow the cleaner to cool for 30 minutes to reset it. Finally, make sure that the dirt tank is not full of water or debris, empty if needed, and reattach it properly.
