Carpet cleaning
Cleaning with attachments
1. While pressing the trigger, make one slow forward wet pass and another one back
2. Release the trigger and make one slow forward and backward pass over
the same area. Repeated passes will help aid in dry time
3. Continue passes until cleaning area is complete
4. When the dirty water reaches the “FULL” line on the tank, it is time to empty
5. Empty dirty water by removing tank from base of machine. Carry to sink
or outside to dispose of water. Unlatch top of tank and pour dirty water
through triangle shaped opening in corner
6. Rell as needed, following steps 4 & 5 under "Before you begin cleaning"
1. Set ReadyTools dial to the “TOOLS” setting
2. Attach the cleaning tool to the end of the hose
3. Clean by pressing the trigger to spray solution onto the area to be cleaned
4. Slowly scrub the tool back and forth over the soiled surface
5. Tilt the tool forward to suction liquid
6. When the dirty water reaches the “FULL” line on the tank, follow instruction
#5 under “Carpet Cleaning” to empty tank
7. When cleaning is complete, remove and rinse tool in warm water

Summary

Carpet Cleaning Guide

Perform Wet Passes

Make one slow forward wet pass and another backward pass.

Aid Dry Time

Release trigger for slow forward/backward passes to aid dry time.

Complete Cleaning Area

Continue passes until the cleaning area is complete.

Empty dirty water when it reaches the "FULL" line on the tank.

Dispose of Dirty Water

Remove tank, carry to sink, unlatch, and pour water through opening.

Refill Tank

Refill the tank as needed following specified steps.

Cleaning with Attachments

Set Dial to TOOLS

Set the Ready Tools dial to the "TOOLS" setting for attachment use.

Attach Cleaning Tool

Connect the desired cleaning tool to the end of the hose.

Spray and Clean Area

Press trigger to spray solution onto the area to be cleaned.

Scrub Surface

Move the tool back and forth over the soiled surface.

Suction Liquid

Tilt the tool forward to suction liquid from the surface.

Empty Tank When Full

Empty dirty water tank when it reaches the "FULL" line.

Rinse Tool

After cleaning, remove and rinse the tool in warm water.

Assembly Instructions

Attach Upper Handle

Slide the upper handle onto the machine base.

Secure Handle

Screw 3 screws into the marked holes to secure the handle.

Attach Hose Racks

Place and secure upper and lower hose racks onto the handle.

Manage Hose and Cord

Wrap the power cord and flex hose, securing the hose with latch.

Attach Tool

Attach the tool to the hose grip for storage.

Before You Begin Cleaning

Prepare Cleaning Area

Move furniture and remove large dirt/debris from carpet.

Pre-treat Spots

Pre-treat spots, stains, and heavy traffic areas optionally.

Fill Clean Water Tank

Fill the clean water tank bladder with clean hot tap water.

Fill Formula Tank

Fill formula tank with water and BISSELL 2X formula.

Set Custom Clean Dial

Set the Custom Clean Dial located on the unit.

Set Ready Tools Dial

Set Ready Tools Dial to "FLOOR CLEANING" or "TOOLS".

Power On Machine

Plug into outlet, turn on power and heater if desired.

Warm Up Heater

If using the heater, let the machine warm up for 1 minute.
