  A loss of suction power in your Bissell Vacuum cleaners can occur due to several reasons. The dirty tank might not be seated properly, so pick it up and reseat it. It could also be full, so empty the dirty tank if it has reached the maximum fill line. Check the rubber tab on the dirty water tank to ensure it's sealed tightly. Also, make sure the accessory hose door is closed tightly and locked into place. The nozzle might be clogged with pet hair or debris. Lastly, ensure the brush roll cover is fully snapped into place by removing the nozzle and brush roll cover, and ensuring both buttons click into place.

  If your Bissell Vacuum cleaners has no spray through the hose and tool, it might be because the hose isn't primed or has lost its prime. To fix this, with the machine off and unplugged, remove the nozzle from the foot. Place a ball point pen in the black cylinder next to the screw until water bubbles up, then remove the pen and reassemble the nozzle and hose. You can also hold the end of the hose below the water level in the tank to prime it. Another reason could be an empty clean water tank, so refill it. Finally, ensure the clean tank is seated properly by turning the power off, removing, and reseating the clean water tank.

Also, the clean tank may not be seated properly; turn the power off, remove, and reseat the clean water tank. Ensure the machine is reclined by pressing the recline pedal and bringing the handle down. The pump may have lost prime; with the machine off and unplugged, remove the nozzle from the foot and place a ball point pen in the black cylinder next to the screw until water bubbles up, then remove the pen and reassemble the nozzle before cleaning again.
