Battery Installation and Removal Procedures

Installing the Battery

Turn the radio off, align battery tabs with radio slots, and push the battery top until the release tab clicks into place.

Removing the Battery

Slide the release tab toward the bottom, pull the top of the battery out approximately 30 degrees, and pull up to remove the battery pack.

Antenna Installation and Removal

Installing the Antenna

Insert the radio's antenna connector into the threaded connector and turn clockwise until firmly seated.

Removing the Antenna

Hold the antenna base and turn it counterclockwise until released.
