TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Solution
The LED indicator does not illuminate
when the charging cable is connected to
the battery.
Loose connection at the
connection terminals.
Check the connection.
No AC power at outlet Ensure power is present at outlet.
Overheating shutdown
Clean dirty ventilation openings or remove
objects covering the unit. Place the unit in a
cooler location.
Short circuit shutdown
Disconnect the cables, and check the power
circuit is right.
The green LED light stays on even when
batteries are not full.
The battery voltage is
too low.
Check the battery voltage with a multimeter.
Recycle the battery if the battery voltage is
too low.
The battery clips are not
connected properly to
the battery terminals.
Check the connection and re-attach the clips
to the terminals.
The red LED light turns on. reverse polarity Check the polarity
