Why does my coffee have sediment when using my Black & Decker CAFÉ SELECT CM6000B Coffee Maker?

If you find coffee sediment in your brewed cup of coffee from your Black & Decker coffee maker, the paper filter may not have been opened or properly placed in the brew basket. Rinse the brew basket and re-insert the paper filter into the brew basket so the edges remain pressed against the sides of the basket.
