• To insure extension cord does not come loose see
figure C for proper attachment.
• In order to operate the trimmer, the lock button must first
be pulled back (see figure D) then squeeze trigger.

      If your Black & Decker Trimmer won't start, there are several things to check: * Ensure the lock-off is fully forward before moving the main trigger. * Make sure the cord is plugged into a working outlet. * Replace the circuit fuse if it's blown. If the fuse repeatedly blows, stop using the trimmer and have it serviced. * Reset the circuit breaker if it's tripped. If the breaker repeatedly trips, discontinue use and have the trimmer serviced. * If the cord or switch is damaged, have it replaced at a Black & Decker Service Center or Authorized Servicer.
