The cover lock might be activated because of the water level inside; try draining the water by running the Pump or Spin programme. The washer might be heating water or in the spinning cycle; wait until it's over. The door can only be opened a few minutes after the program has stopped due to an electrical safety mechanism. If the child lock is engaged, wait a couple of minutes after the program ends for it to deactivate.
